Our Story

Built to inspire, Avant Garde continues a longstanding creative legacy at 218 Merton Street. Once home to galleries and creative spaces that contributed to Toronto’s arts community, the building has evolved into a contemporary gallery and multi-functional event venue. Today, Avant Garde brings together art, culture and events under one roof. From exhibitions and fashion showcases to brand activations, corporate events, weddings and private celebrations.
